Annual Conference

Rory Cosgrove

Our Annual Conference for 2013 was held at The Watershed in February.  The focus of the event was the localism agenda, so the Conference was thoughtfully titled Local Heroes.

The conference attracted its usual sell out crowd, with the delegates enjoying a great range of speakers talking about the challenges and opportunities presented by the localism movement in the Bristol area.

With a fantastic line up of speakers, including Bristol's Mayor George Ferguson, a top quality Q&A panel, the conference was a roaring success.  All this and great opportunities for networking makes the Constructing Excellent Bristol Club Conference a must keep date for your diary.

Bristol Under Privileged Children’s Charity

Rory Cosgrove

CSR

We agree that every child has the right to ENJOY their childhood.

This is why The Bristol Under Privileged Children’s Charity was created in the 1970’s. The charity's aim is to raise as much money as possible for as long as possible to put back into and enrich the lives of children in a less fortunate position than ourselves. Whatever their need, disability or situation they seek to help improve their lives. The Bristol Under Privileged Children’s Charity has no share capital and no paid officials so every last penny raised by the charity and its supporters is spent helping Bristol children who reside within a twenty-five mile radius of the city centre. Funds are raised through donations, functions and are then applied to grants, items, services or facilities that help to reduce the need, hardship or distress of these children. Membership is open to all and there is no joining fee to become a member.
